Today is a special day; why do you ask? Because we are now one month away from the 2nd Fashion's Night out. For those of you who are unaware of this amazing movement, Fashion’sNight Out (FNO) is an unprecedented global initiative created to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry’s economy, and put the fun back in shopping. FNO will return to New York City and launch in cities nationwide this year on Friday, September 10, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Last year, in NYC alone, more than 800 participating stores across the five boroughs feted thousands of shoppers who supported the fashion and retail industries.
This year FNO is going to be on a global scale! Hell, right here in San Francisco we have some pretty exciting events going on to celebrate fashion and the retail industry. Here at Macy's we are working on a performance from legendary guitarist and shoe designer, Carlos Santana as well as an appearance from The Countess - I don't watch Real Housewives, but I guess she is on the show in NYC.
